Andrea joined ASHP/CML in 1989 as an artist, designer, and producer of multimedia materials. With the inception of the New Media Lab at CUNY’s Graduate Center in 2000, she took on the role of Managing Director of the facility. Andrea is Executive Director and Artistic Director of The Lost Museum, the 3-D exploration of P. T. Barnum’s American Museum. Her other credits include writing and audiovisual production for the WBA? CD-ROMs; co-writer and producer of Up South: African-American Migration in the Era of The Great War; co-director and artist for Heaven Will Protect the Working Girl and Savage Acts: Wars, Fairs, and Empire. She is also artist and designer of History Matters, Picturing U. S. History, and other ASHP/CML websites, including the Graduate Center’s New Media Lab.
