Faculty Mentors

Teachers who participate in the Making Connections Program are generally assigned a mentor who will work with humanities faculty for one school year. Making Connections mentors are seasoned educators chosen from the faculties of City University of New York colleges and New York City public high schools. Faculty mentors help classroom teachers integrate ASHP/CML’s print and multimedia materials into their teaching; deepen students’ knowledge of history and literature; and strengthen inquiry-based learning.
