Ground One: Voices from Post-911 Chinatown

Post 9-11 ChinatownPresenting more than two dozen oral history interviews with Chinese Americans (available in both Chinese and English), this site explores how the events of September 11, 2001 indelibly changed one famous lower Manhattan neighborhood. The site was created collaboratively by ASHP/CML, the Museum of the Chinese in the Americas, the Columbia University Oral History Research Office, and New York University’s Asian/Pacific/American Institute, with support from the Rockefeller Foundation.
