Leah joined ASHP/CML in 2009 as a resident history educator; her projects include support for the Teaching American History workshop series and development of a resource database of activities and primary sources for educators. Leah previously taught high school US history in Charlotte, North Carolina. Her interests include interdisciplinary approaches to sharing history scholarship with the public and the use of new media to increase access to the humanities. She co-authored a handbook on the use of Web 2.0 for small cultural heritage organizations. She earned an M.A. in public humanities from Brown University and holds a bachelors degree in history from Indiana University.
